I am a postdoctoral researcher jointly affiliated with Julia Vogt’s group at ETH Zurich and Bjoern Menze’s group at the Department of Quantitative Biomedicine at the University of Zurich, where I work on developing vision-language models for ultrasound video analysis.

Prior to joining ETH Zurich and the University of Zurich in June 2026, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Informatics and Data Science at Yale University. There, I worked on representation learning for ultrasound data and explored deep learning approaches for global health applications. My stay at Yale was supported by a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) Postdoc.Mobility Fellowship.

I obtained my Bachelor’s and Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Basel and completed my PhD in Biomedical Engineering in 2022, where I focused on generative AI methods for medical image analysis, with a particular focus on the automatic detection of pathological regions in medical images.
